I first became interested in the Scout tool when it popped up on my Instagram…. hi good riddance for algorithms right.
It looked slick, beautifully designed, handy and something that I would be happy to carry on a daily basis.
I already owned a little Gerber tool, which I liked, but I was always looking for an upgrade.
I have never entered into a Kickstarter project before, so I was a bit reticent to take part, but the fear of not owning the Stoke, drive me to get involved.
Anyway, after reading all the small print and going over the FAQ’s, I committed to the project.
The Kickstart was a booming success and then all
I had to do was to wait for my reward.
I frequently kept in touch with Ben, the founder of Stoke tool and it was a joy to see his constant update of the process on Instagram, and through his e-mails.
Finally the day of reckoning, and it is even more impressive in the hand. Also I would like to add that I also purchase the Conker, which is a beautiful designed lanyard, which is stylish and also helps to give you a bit more torque.
If you love EDC, or just practical, thoughtful design, then this should be on your radar.
